by james_woods ini think the problem is, as before, how the aawa is handling things and refusing to answer your critics makes things worse.
critics are not people out to get you, they are critical of something that you have done or given the appearance of doing and pr is the job of responding to address the criticisms.. this is the internet people, you can't just pretend that things didn't happen by deleting the comments!
especially not with a group that wants to claim to offer support and be open and honest.

Tylinbrando it seems you're still bitter beause when you first came on JWN, YOU wanted JWN members to start a HUGE RALLY AGAINST THE WTS AND ELDERS without even knowing who you were, plus your story was off.

What good is a group if mistakes where made and no action was taken to rectify the situation.
Was the FB Group Page with hundreds of people who were unknowingly outted deleted, and start a new? NO. There's still many on FB who don't even know they are part of that group.
Did they give a heart felt apology after mistakes were made? No. Only after pressure from JWN
Did they continue to spin a story only to cover mistakes? Yes. Until they were outted.

i`ve spent the morning and part of my afternoon... getting to the bottom of... why names were added to the awaa fan page... it`s a dangerous thing to happen in our world... faders can be outed,we can lose,family,friends... the results can be an absolute disaster... .

I couldn't agree with you more Simon, but I'm more taken back by the apathy of corrections or even REALLY LISTENING to the EX-JW community who they claim to represent. It also took pressure to issue a professional/formal apology. That apology was forced.
If many wouldn't have spoken up and let them know how un cool things are.....we know how that turned out (WTS).....
From what I've heard, Steven Hassan at times does help out when requested. This is a huge project to take on without the truly experienced in cult matters.

Ha....I'm the one who's been away and for some reason I thought you were too.....
Good point wha.....that's one other thing which has been forgotten.....there's many more affected of delicate dispositon as Ompaas well as other of EX-JW's (or those trying to get out). It's a total emotional/mental un winding. A wise approach is everything. It "seems" AAWA care more about who they are, then those they claim they're trying to help.......

wha happened, good to see your return
It's seems from what I've WITNESSED, and unless other members AWAKE to a new found reality of their presidents mind set, I see only negatives.
After all, how many times does one have to mention on a web site "we are an incorporated" org. on ALL pages? Also they may care about who's who (circle jerk) and think many do too? Many want to see approach and execution of issues. Talk is cheap. Approach is vital to be effective. But it's obvious what approch they've chosen which is a copycat Annyony.....who does NOT give a ratz ass about thier victims. Didn't anyone overveiw what was written? Or was it all up to Cedars?
Yes, I gather I could have emailed him with suggestions, but I've WITNESSED first hand how suggestions are viewed. I gather I could seem out for blood (Cedars claim) but there's way too many red flags.
Unless Cedars gets his head out of his arse, and or members take their blinders off having more of a say (uless they did and are of the same mindset), I see only havoc. And I'll be damned if they think they are representative of me and THE CAUSE.
